Experience/Background

Ms. Arrowood is the Managing Director of The Write Source, Inc., a small business providing broad spectrum writing, editing, and training services to clients worldwide. Her company was organized in 1991 and formally incorporated under its parent (Investment Decisions, Inc.) in 1993. Prior to founding The Write Source, Ms. Arrowood was a Senior Scientist for the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) at the SHAPE Technical Centre in Den Haag, Holland (1987-1990). She also worked as a Senior Staff Engineer for Martin Marietta (now Lockheed Martin), a Member of the Technical Staff at the MITRE Corporation, and an officer in the U.S. Army Signal Corps. Her capabilities and competencies include:

Technical Writing, Editing, and Training

Technical Writing and Editing:
Coordination with Subject Matter Experts to create a wide variety of reports, studies, white papers, articles, books, marketing materials, and proposals (grant and technical). Clients include medical consultants, engineering, mining, transportation/transit, construction, educational institutions, laboratories, environmental services, software/IT, insurance, financial, legal, accounting, others.

Training:
Development of technical, proposal, grant proposal, journalist, Internet/email/netiquette training programs for international clients (United Nations, NATO, NGOs, others), government entities (Federal, state, city, county, others), trade and professional associations (U.S. Small Business Administration and affiliates, Denver metro, Asian, Hispanic, and other Chambers of Commerce), and corporate clients (Rio Tinto, Herzog Engineering, Center for Medicare/Medicaid Consulting, others). Long-term training arrangements with Mountain States Employers Council (MSEC) and the State of Colorado Office of Economic Development (Minority and Women's Business Office.
