  • Effective Writing in the Federal Government—U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) addressing writing and editing in plain English/plain Language (Plain Writing Act of 2010); writing government documents [memos, white and position papers, performance appraisals, PWSs and SOWs), and creating/delivering effective presentations, briefings, and speeches (public speaking).
  • Presentation skills training with persuasive writing skills for UNICEF Vietnam.
  • Bottom Line Up Front (BLUF) training for the U.S. Army CECOM.
  • Presentation skills training with persuasive writing skills for UNICEF Vietnam.
  • Grant writing skills training for over 120 members of the Colorado Special Districts Association (SDACO).
  • Grant writing training for Pacific Island/NOAA grantees for the annual Saltonstall-Kennedy grant program/request for applications (RFA).
  • Facilitation, Presentation, and Public Speaking workshop—United Nations Office of Project Services (UNOPS), Valencia, Spain (3 days); United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Hanoi, Vietnam (5 days).
  • Proposal and Grant Writing workshop—Global Environmental Facility-Integrating Watershed & Coastal Areas Management (GEF-IWCAM)/UNDP/UNEP, Trinidad and Tobago (4 days).
  • Technical and Proposal Writing:
    • Unigoup: two-part effective proposal writing workshop
    • U.S. Department of Commerce Institute for Telecommunication Science: two two-day, Assistant Secretary-mandated plain English/plain language writing and editing training sessions.
    • Knight Piésold: eight-part, two-track workshop on technical/report writing and presentation skills for engineers and environmental specialists.
    • Climax Molybdenum Mine and Mill (Freeport McMoRan): Four-part workshop on technical, report, and business writing plus presentation skills for chemical, civil, and mining engineers
    • Mountain States Employers Council: Long-term agreement to provide training programs to members, addressing grant, proposal, and technical writing.
    • University Corporation for Atmospheric Research (UCAR/NCAR): Technical and Report Writing, with a segment for non-native English speakers.
    • National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL): Training program addressing technical, proposal, business development, and grant writing, plus presentation skills.
